Susheela Raman
Senses arose as a mixture: an artistic – human - mixture. Constantly searching and rich in encounters that coexist, fuse and still manage to retain their unique qualities; a search to create a special kind of music, a universal language - the language of freedom. Bapi das Baul founded the group in 1999, combining traditional Baul music with western instruments and live dancefloor beats.

Susheela Raman Salt Rain is the title of Suheela Raman’s debut album, which has received a number of awards. The album announces the dawn of a new kind of music. The powerful, sensuous voice of Suheela (who was born in Great Britain), combines the music of India with the sounds of London and Paris, and draws on three musical cultures: the heritages of Europe, Africa and Asia.
