"Par un jour de violence ordinaire" is Amiralay's homage to his friend Michel Seurat, who was kidnapped and murdered by the Jihad in 1995. In "Il y a tant de choses à raconter" Amiralay interviews the Syrian dramaturg Saadallah Wannou several months before his death, making this video into testimony of a generation that grew up with the Israeli-Arab conflict.
