In "Lili" an aspiring Imam falls in love with the beauty of the neighbourhood where he is supposed to watch over the public morals – a tale of temptation, lust and belief. "Diary of a Male Whore" tells of Esam, who works as a call-boy in Tel Aviv, but is repeatedly overcome by memories of his native village in Palestine.
