Bintou portrays the self-elevation – against all odds – of a downtrodden housewife, Bintou, who’s only wish is earn enough money to educate her daughter. Her frustration with her situation, and the derision that accompanies her decision to enter into business, pushes her towards triumph. She embraces her success; her husband has more trouble doing so.
FESPACO Award for the best Short Film.

Sia - le Rêve du Python is inspired by a pre-colonial legend in which a beautiful maiden must be sacrificed to a python each year in order to avert misfortune. Sia flees with her beloved, but is captured and left to the mercy of the priests. A universal parable of power and its abuse.
