With her innovative fusion of oriental dancefloor sound, house and techno music mixed with queer classics, DJ Ipek created a new style and made it clubbable. Together with the cross-gender drag queen group "Salon Oriental", she regularly brings the lesbian-gay Berlin subculture and immigrants of all kinds to SO 36. Sabuha Salaam is co-founder of the "Salon Oriental".
