|
"Report on Giving Birth" from the People's Republic of China works with the methods of the modern dance theatre, inquiry, and installation, it combines sound and film material with movement and dance. The production is concerned with living conditions, Chinese women, with relations between the sexes, with experience of the body, and with birth in China. "Living Dance Studio" was founded by Wen Hui in Beijing as an independent dance company in 1994. "Report on Giving Birth" will retain Living Dance Studio's trademark documentary and dance theatre features.
