In north Iran, a film team visits a village that was struck by a devastating earthquake. Hossein, a bricklayer, plays a minor part. His film partner is Tahereh. He falls in love with her, but she does not return his affections - initially, at least. He takes advantage of being close to her during the filming to win her heart.
