For two decades, the ageing filmmaker Bahman Farjami was not allowed to make any more films. He hits on the idea of making a film about his own funeral. To his great surprise, it gets past the censors. Farmanara turns this semi-autobiographical story into a surrealistic, comical dream about hitherto unknown sides to Iranian society.
