The writer and journalist Rosa Beltrán reads from her essays. Followed by a discussion with the author and Mexican artists and filmmakers. Moderator: Claudia Wahjudi, Journalist

3:00 p.m. City Stories
Juan Villoro is an internationally-known author from Mexico City; Fabrizio Mejía Madrid’s texts are concerned primarily with his generation’s quest for identity in times of rapid change.

4:00 p.m.: Day Rituals and Night Masses
Sergio González Rodríguez, a young Mexican author who traces the mysterious currents of Mexico’s subculture, reads his essay “Mexico by Night – a Cartography for Insomniacs and Cave Visitors”. The specialist in festival phenomena, Raúl Nieto, speaks about shifts and changes in urban rituals.

Followed by a discussion with all the participants in the afternoon’s events
