Lolo leads a normal life in an outlying district of Mexico City until one day he is robbed and beaten outside the factory where he works. He is hospitalized for a week, unconscious, and his absence from work costs him his job. Visiting his factory one last time, the enraged Lolo kills a woman. When he lets a friend be accused of the murder, a terrible chain reaction is set in motion. In his film debut, the director Athié characterizes everyday life in the poorest districts of Mexico City.
