An exchange project by the Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen München (HFF) and the Film Academy CCC in Mexico: German and Mexican students have formed teams to explore the issue of the border in both a geographic and a symbolic sense using the medium of film. First they visited remote pueblos on mountain ridges and on the edge of the Pacific, exotic places for the Germans. Later the Mexicans came to Germany to find the Wall in peoples heads, a strange and memorable phenomenon. The borderline film experiences were produced in the HFF studios and moderated by the filmmakers. The screenings will be followed by a discussion of the works. Participants from Mexico: Mariana Ochoa, CF Rossini, Gabriel Marino, Pavel Aguilar, Ramon Stoltenberg, Omar Guzman from Deutschland: Sabrina Wulff, Oliver Tataru, Venn-Hein Birger, Ina Bormann, Juli Lambert, Jan Bosse Directors: Prof. Dr. Dieter Kronzucker, Paris Kosmidis
